I have to agree with most on this post, when I purchase a game ,which I have here, I usually enjoy the ability to play said game. However, despite my numerous attempts to log in today it has not been panning out for me. So for me to just "chillax" is asking a lot, when you have taken my money and given me less than the value in return.

Where do you suggest I do that? Seeing as the forums are just as messed up as the games server problems. There is no "right place" to post these issues.

SE has commented on this, several times. I imagine none of you even bothered to look it up. The reason none of us can log-in is because there are more people that bought the game than the anticipated. The Japanese servers are fine, because those numbers were expected. However, due to the failure of 1.0, they didn't expect THIS many people to buy it, and so the servers did not accommodate for those unexpected numbers. However, they HAVE addressed it, saying that they are working on increasing the server load, but it will take some time. Remember, this game just launched TODAY, and had much higher numbers than anyone expected. MMO servers on launch are always buggy and have connection issues, due to high congestion of everyone wanting to play it as soon as it comes out. Wait for a few days for the congestion to die down, and the servers to handle higher loads of people, and the issues will be gone.

And just to make things clear, I am not a fanboy coming to the defense of SE or anything, but it seems that none of you even bothered to look up the information that you are complaining is lacking. Infact, look at the "News" section on the launcher, you will find that they are in fact, trying to do something. Right now, restricting access is the only thing they can do to keep the servers from shutting down from high traffic, and ruining it for everyone. So be patient, you will get your money's worth, but only if you allow them to make it so you can.

so what your telling me is they wernt ready even though they knew how many people PRE-ORDERED the game?...hahaha you cant possibly defend them when this has been going on since early access started 4 DAYS ago and they were aware of the pre-order numbers.

You do realize that most pre-orders are last minute, right?

this is messed up. they need to refund us for buying the game so I can put money into a MMO that is playable.

They sold out of the collector's edition months before release. That should have been SOME indication... :/

I have a lot of understanding. I get that games can't be perfect, and there will be issues especially for new MMOs at launch. But this has been going on for days...some issues since Phase 4 beta. I honestly think they didn't give themselves enough time to work with it, and the beta should have been longer. They apparently thought they fixed the issue, but they only had a couple hours after fixing the game (and at off-hours for NA) to see if the issues were truly resolved.

I don't think it should be that hard to at least get the queue working, even if we have to wait an hour just for that - I'd rather it than having to spam log-in! That's tiring.

I paid for the computer AND PS3 collector's edition (Since PC CE was sold out, it was my only choice - plus I wanted to be able to play on both platforms anyway). Over $100 spent on this game now, and all I want to do is play it. I was so excited and willing to help support SE by purchasing both...Oi. This is highly disappointing. ;___; I wish they would at least communicate with us more...and maybe give us a special event with cool items or just an item or SOMETHING as an apology because this "Sorry for the inconvenience" is getting old. ; A ;

Yeah. They also had a flood of people asking if they'd be releasing more of the collector's edition. :O

And yeah, I get that. I'm willing to wait it out, and I'll probably still play even if it takes a week or two to fix it. But it's hard to not be at least frustrated by it and want to vent. : (
