There is one thing I figured out a long time ago. Complaining and threatening to quit the game, does not manifest an instant fix or a cure to problems in MMO launches. Fixes take time. Attaining more hardware takes time. Configuring everything takes time.

SE "should" have handled this launch more smartly, I certainly won't argue that. With the game having come off a humiliating first effort, this should have been treated as a golden child and no risks taken whatsoever. However, they did not. One thing I am certain of, and I'm sure everyone else is as well, is that SE wants this game up and running properly as quickly as possible. If not for us, the players, then for them, and their shareholders at the very least. They don't want this game smeared with negative press once again. I'm sure they are doing everything they can to fix it.

I suppose I may just have more patience than others. I want to play as bad as anyone else though. I just don't think filling the forums with rage is going to solve things any quicker. In a week or two, I'm sure everything will be great and we won't even be thinking of 1017 or 3102. Anyways, just my thoughts on all of the negative posts. People have a right to complain, but complaining doesn't make things go any quicker. They may actually cause more problems if SE responds with shortcut attempts to fix things. Here's hoping all progresses well in the near future.
