FF14 on PS3 and PC Subscriptions

If you own FF14 on PC and PS3, can you have them both registered to one account? If so, would that be a single fee? It would seem silly to pay two monthly fees for one account, even if it's on two platforms, but I have to ask out of pure curiosity.

To re-emphasise before someone misreads me and says "Of course you would pay two fees for two accounts" -- I am asking if you pay two fees for one account on both PS3 and PC. I know you have to buy the game for both platforms, just curious about the monthly sub. Thanks for any guidance on this.

Yes - you can use the game on PS3 or PC using the same service account and one monthly sub - just can't login* to both at the same time - I'm using exactly that.

*You can login to the client itself but not to the server with the character.

Similar question, I'm Legacy and my wife wants to play as well. I know I need to set up a 2nd service account but if I register the 2nd service account to my Square Enix Account, will she get Legacy pricing as well? I don't want to register her copy to my SEA if that's not the case since we both currently play FFXI too and we already manage two separate SEAs.

Pretty sure the Legacy status is tied to your service account, not your SE account. So it's very likely your wife wouldn't benefit from the discounted sub fee.

Weird, so what's the point of having multiple service accounts on one SEA? The only one I can think of is easier to manage your payments to just one account instead of multiple?

Seems to pretty much be it from what I can tell, perhaps they'll add stuff in future the way wow has BoAs, but who knows.
