Lancer Equipment

Maybe a silly question, I'm new to FF and didn't play 1.0. I play a Glad btw.

Do Glad's / Lancers use the same equipment or is this the equivalent to a Glad rolling need on something that's of an inferior toughness (e.g Glad rolling on leather gear).

Is all of the loot bind on pickup? Could I need roll for a lancer to give it to them if they find that they can't roll on an upgrade?

The issue with Lancer Gear seems strange. Essentially some of the most durable (highest defence) DoW gear can be worn only by GLA and MRD (example), while some have LNC added (example), but the Lancers are not able to roll need on them. So it's either a case of the LNC being a mistake on the gear and they shouldn't be able to use them (thus can't need), or the LNC is missing on the other pieces and the need option on rolling on them needs to be fixed.

As for loot being BoP I have no clue, have never tried to trade items from dungeons, or any items at all.
