Armoire Not Letting Me Store Anything

I can't get the Armoire to store ANYTHING. I purposely went out and 100% repaired all my gear and still nothing. There's nothing in my armoire either. I'm on the Windows client if it makes a difference.

I believe the Armour is only for the special sets like AF and so.
Once you are a bit futher in the main story you get the option to get yourself some retainers. You can have 2 and both give 175 storage.

There's a section of the Armoire that's for Artifact Armor yes. But otherwise it's supposed to act like an extension on your Armor Chest with the caveat that anything stored gets spiritbond reduced to 0%.

Ok, so I kinda understand you need the retainer? For any items, but I was able to click place item in armoire, 4 items, but there no where to be found in the armoire. Lost forever?

The Armoire has never worked for me in any of the betas or now. I figured we had to be a certain level and complete a quest to gain access to use it. Would love some info on this.

I put an onion helm in the other day, from 1.0 CE. Unfortunately, due to 1017 errors, I have no ability to check if it's still in the armoire. Probably fell back behind it; it's a real pain to reach that.
