Thread: Grand Company Chocobo 1.1 Missing armor

I assume everyone here has completed the in-game story line (of 2.0) up to the point where you get the Chocobo from your Grand Company.

If so, I have the option to switch between behemoth barding and my GC barding.

If you have not completed the current GC initiation quest, or have since changed GC's, I do not believe you will be able to re-equip that barding.

I too have the exact same problem, GC Choco gear went poof the minute I put on the Behemoth set.

I think you may be on to something here...I will check tonight when I get home as I just completed my GC quest and noticed this before that.

Even if that is the case, I do think it would be nice to have had an in game message saying "Oh by the way, if you take this off you can't put it back on until you get a grand company and get a new set".

Hi everyone, I think my problem is along the same lines. I used the behemoth item to equip the barding but it doesn't show up. My chocobo still has the GC barding but the behemoth one is nowhere to be found now...

There was an announcement made outside of the game. To code a warning for something that only happens once, for only certain players, if certain criteria are met would be a lot of extra work.

Grand Company barding will only be available after enlisting in a Grand Company
* Should a Version 1.0 character enlist in a different Grand Company, their personal chocobo will remain equipped with the barding used in Version 1.0 until it is changed by the player.
