The name change form is intended only for those users who experienced issues with importing their Version 1.0 characters into A Realm Reborn.

I'm still not sure if that qualifies me or not, on one hand I was able to change the name. On the other I did experience issues importing my character because of server connectivity issues. It was because of these connectivity issues I was unable to properly change my name. And I did have issues importing the character since I DID have to do my changes from scratch since importing templates from Beta/Alpha/Benchmark did not work. I know you can't give a solid answer on this but if I'm stuck having to delete and recreate a character from scratch because of connection issues the company had at launch then I'm not going to be very happy at all about this.

By the way, the post limitations are downright annoying...

To add to the above post, I know some will say I should have double-checked before hitting the OK button but that's not always on your mind when you're already frustrated you lost a half-hour of tweaking just the way you want it. Add to that the constant disconnects, 1017, 90,000 errors and so on that plagued Early Access and on up until the 4th of this month and you'll find it irritating enough you may forget a small detail like that.

EDIT: Also it isn't this character but an alt of mine I purposely made in 1.0 to prepare for the release of Miqo'te males. The name I originally had was okay, until they released the actual naming lore which I was really excited over seeing. Now I just want the name I originally desired to match it.

Any chance to identify if/when we will get a name change service for everyone? I love that I am getting the Fantasia bottle for the first 30 day subscription, but I won't be able to use it until I can also change my name, since I want to switch from a female char to a male. Thanks!

I'm interested in this too since I want to change both on my character. I was thinking on remaking my character and lvl it again but Hyperion isn't accepting new characters :/ so the only option is to wait for them to implement this or remake my character on another server and transfer later... *sigh*

so what about future phials? If people can change their gender and race but not name...thats kinda bad
