Thread: Standard 1.0 / Legacy -> phisical CE purchase

Guys, look, I'm sorry to say it, but those of us (myself included) who bought the PC CE, back when it first became available in May, dropped the ball. SE did warn everyone that if you bought the PC Collectors Edition and had a 1.0 account, you would not be able to redeem the code waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy back on August 8, 2013. 9 posts in. On a topic about the latest Letter from the Producer (at the time).

No one to blame but ourselves...

It's just a mater of reading through pages of replies to find it now.

and no... were not to blame for our purchase.
Like you said so well, this WAS a known issue back in May.. and The decided to just turn a blind eye to it thinking this juggling of PS3 accounts and double dipping digital service upgrade would be OK.

You do realize I was being sarcastic when I said there was no one to blame but ourselves, right?

i ordered it YONKS ago and read that the item could be used, according to the item description, after that i never read much more into it, i always assumed it would work, i didnt see why it wouldnt, but alas, today proved us wrong!

least SE can do is fix it, i mean really, its not hard!

Sorry sir! It's just that I was seriously hearing this exact logic back in beta for months.
I guess I got too used to it that the sarcasm flew right over my head!

they did actually post a warning about this back in may through... but only in a purchase thread with over 300 pages of replies.

BTW... that post does not talk about CE items, it's about the 30 days free that you get.

If you buy the PS3 version you can link it to a 1.0 account and get the extra 30 days, like with CE items.

I wanted to reply to the post here but got level blocked again!

I actually already did post there. All I seem to be getting from anyone is "well, they posted it on the forums. People were made aware."

That's like a guy in Times Square trying to shout directions to everyone in New York.

it's true that game was great. however, paying 15$ a month when i cant access the CE items that ive purchased, not to mention their 1017 errors that has yet to be fixed, just doesnt seem worth it until fixed =/
