AFK Auto Log Out Timer

Why is there no auto log out timer for afk charaters? It is messing with a bit of the games server issues and I really think this would help us all to log in faster.

Why is there no auto log out timer for afk charaters? It is messing with a bit of the games server issues and I really think this would help us all to log in faster.

Go to any major city. You'll see 30+ afkers as you walk around.

At any quest hub, you'll see a few.

These are all spots that could be filled by people waiting to play. (Some who have waited for hours, or days even)

The argument is that people are afk'ing to prevent themselves from going through the errors. This is a horrible practice, as it removes room on the server and causes more people to do it. It should NOT be allowed.

This would sure help. Over half the population of Adamantoise are AFK. I did 3 fates in a row, some GC leve quests, and helped my friends beat Ifrit and they are still at the same place sitting in the same spot. If people wouldn't go AFK for hours on end then maybe other people could get in and they wouldn't have to worry about the severs being full.
