Some suggestions, mostly quality of life, obvious things

Previewing equips would be welcome. As well as dyes.

Also, I'd really like to be able to move the chat box. It seems to be glitched in the middle of my screen and is not even selectable in the HUD adjustments. Besides that, it would be nice to adjust at any time.

Do you know how when you get new equipment it'll show you a comparison on the Defense and Magic Defense stats to what you currently have equipped?

Well, it should also compare the stat bonuses as well. Maybe your gear has the same defense and magic defense, but maybe it doesn't have INT +4 or some other sort of stat bonus that may make you choose it over something else as a quest reward or determine if you want to lot for something in the loot box or not.

I can't even target the Carbuncles. I can target them with the mouse or gamepad mouse but not when using a gamepad. Is this working as intended or a bug? It's not a filter thing either because even with everything available to be target I still cannot target them. I spoke with two other gamepad users that said they also could not target them.

One thing that needs to remain though is the ability for healers to target pets in order to heal them. Just blanket removal of tar getting pets would make healing g pets next to impossible. As well as making healing g them while soloing harder as well. Please remember to take this in consideration. Thanks!

Regarding chat box, click and drag the general tab, and it will move the whole chat box. Click and drag any of the other tabs and it will split them off into different chat boxes.

Currently you can select in options to enable or disable Auto sort of Inventory, Its just not in the Inventory window.

I may be missing something but can one of the FFXIV admins please post a link or explain where i can get a manual like those downloadable in the Beta, it really explained a lot of features

Add the ability to summon and fight with your chocobo while you are queue-ing in the duty finder.

... In the chat box, make it so /r will always reply to the last person you whispered. (It works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. Not sure why.)

The reason is because 'r' stands for reply/respond, so it's going to the last person to whisper to you, not the last person you whispered. You can also hit it multiple times (or Alt+r) to cycle through people who have recently sent tells to you.

Oh, oh! The ability to display multiple pages of my, or my retainer's, inventory at once would be sooo nice. Trying to move things around and get organized takes a day and a half sometimes, having to click three or four times per item instead of just doing one drag and drop.

The option to hide the big floating numbers that identify each action bar.

The option to lock the position/size of my chat box. I hate it when I click between Event and General and my chat box goes sliding because I didn't come to a complete stop first, and the little arrow in the corner of my chat box just... well, I don't like seeing it for some reason, haha.

Just to add my voice to this, I would really like a less cluttered screen. Combat can get pretty cluttered, even in dungeons. Maybe fade player names or something? Not sure. Grabbing adds is pretty tough as a tank without all the visual noise.

Only thing I have to add is a request for functionality to hide earrings. I know a lot of people who simply take the stat hit because earrings don't fit with their character, but that just doesn't seem necessary. If they already added the option for hats and main-/off-hand, it can't be that hard to do.
