    Of course this is not the first time its been requested, so I doubt it will ever happen.

    This is a huge long thread, so it may have been covered before. I did do a search on the keyword 'macro' but only came up with one post that mentioned an item in this list.

    Macros:

    1. #showtooltip or something similar would be helpful. (this is the one I saw someone ask for)

    2. Title of the macro displaying across the macro itself as well would be helpful.
    I have a hard time sometimes differentiating one bright yellow square from another, and that is one reason I always liked the *text* based way of the jRPG. This is also helpful to know which instance I am to use this macro in

    For example: I want a macro with the abilities I want to use on the flank, and I call it flank. This text helps me know how to use this button.

    3. Is there any reason why (or any way around) the macros in the macro builder interface all having the same gray icon, even when you use macroicon? This is also unhelpful on using macros.

    A few stuff that would be awesome:

    1. When you log out, take us to character selection screen instead of the lobby.

    2. Implement a "Sort by *option*" on the things you are selling on your retainers. Not major but it bugs me, for eg. when I try to sell 5 sets of a single Maple Sap and it lists in a column, then when I sell a separate item, 5 sets of a single Ash lumber, 4 of those Ash lumbers will be listed below the Maple Saps, but one deviant will go in between the Maple Saps god knows how. (Sort by, price, date set, quality and type would be awesome)

    3. If you have the appropriate rank in an FC, remove the notification when you withraw/deposit something every single time. When you deposit a large amount of items, it gets quite frustrating.

    4. Have a system like the Shards/Crystals/Cluster storage system for materias, too many types of materias!

    5. Make the "Free Search" on the market board a key word based search. For eg. If I type in the word "materia" it will not find any of the materia at all.

    6. Make the Wish List stay every maint XD

    7. Have a little symbol next to summoner/scholar pets like you do on your chocobo to determine what mode they are on, obey, sic, heel, place and the like.

    Just wondering why after rouse/spur stats are calculated again for egis.

    We can't change gear during a fight (and that's good) but If we plan ahead and use a specific gear to summon an egi with different stats , and then put back our "normal" gear then we can't use the rouse/spur actions without stats being recalculated again.

    Icons in the Macro Menu

    I miss the pre-2.2 macro menu icons. I've kept all the old ones because I can recognize at a glance which macro is what based on the action icon attached to it. Looking at the menu and trying to remember what "DPS 1" and "DPS 2" was is frustrating.

    Suggestion: When using /macroicon, it displays the specified icon in the Users Macros menu as well as on hotbars.

    This has probably been mentioned somewhere else but . . . I'd love it if we could turn off our free company buff icon so they don't show next to our names or that they had a lower priority. Its great that we no longer see everyone else's Free Company buffs but I'd like to be able to see my abilities/self buffs prior to the free company ones.

    Would love to be able to do levequests for gathering while in a party, even if the levequest has to drop and you use up an allowance. Also would be very nice if we can queue for whatever, change jobs, and when the queue pops there should be no need to have to change back; accepting the queue should change you to the job you queued at with that equipment.

    Lastly, I'm in ps3 and have really long loading screens. I'm DPS and for whatever reason a queue always pops in a loading screen when zoning. I then withdraw before I get the chance to enter the duty because of the loading screen. Would be great if queue waited so that all characters were readily available and not changing zones.

    UI Suggestion - Crafting Logs

    It would be cool if we could right-click some crafting mat we have and have an option to "List Recipes". The crafting log will open only showing recipes that item is needed for. I was looking at Lime Sulfur and wondered what I could make with it, but don't feel like fishing through all my crafting recipes looking for the specific recipe that has lime sulfur as an ingredient.
