    Servers& how they work...

Full explanation, your server has reached its maximum for total population, example total say of 10,000 players. Wait times here can be much more frustrating to create a new character because you must wait until people delete their toon to free up space, which can be forever looking at you Gilgamesh, Leviathan, Moogle servers.

Then if you cant log-online, its because out of those 10,000 players, 8 thousands odd players are playing simultaneously, so you must wait till some of them log off the server so you can log in. These waits can be anywhere from 5 minutes to 5 hours.

This server full thing is very frustrating. However, this isn't a new thing. A lot of other games have had the same issues, especially at launch. It would be really nice if when you try to log in, it set you in an active que and kept an open pop up that tells you your que number and the estimated time for entry. Other MMORG's have something like this implemented. Having to select from different screens for hours is just tedious and useless.

SWTOR did it with BIOware. SE decided to keep his game working perfectly unlike SWTOR which I think players did crash some servers but that was healthier then what we have now because players caused it themselves all trying to play on one server which made players voluntarily change servers to avoid that because they could only blame their own actions. SE forced this upon use to avoid what SWTOR went through, bad choice in hindsight, good intentions tho.
