Uh...disconnected?

Ok, i think I have a legit problem aside from the servers being full. Since early access began, I've had issues staying in the game. During Beta 3 and 4 my game ran like a champion but as soon as I began early access it started booting me after a minute or so of being logged in. I haven't really heard of other people having this issue. I just keep seeing "Oh server full can't log in blah blah" so I don't know if I'm the only one having this problem.
I have checked into my graphics card and it's above the minimum requirements but below the recommended. I turned down the graphics and made a few in game adjustments and it runs really smoothly now but I can only be in-game for like 2 minutes and it boots me with error 2002 or error 90000. I logged into my friends computer who has a better graphics card than me but still below the recommended and I played with zero problems for a solid 10-15 minutes where I logged out myself.
Is this problem graphics related or perhaps something else I have overlooked?
