Coerthas is literally unplayable on ps3, no joke. How is this allowed?

Do not bother going into Coerthas. It's no joke, it's literally unplayable on ps3 in any group or FATE. You cant see any enemies, you can't see your hotbar actions, FATE Bosses, you literally cannot see anything but the world. Try switching hotbars and your action icons take forever to show up.

I went on a chocobo and it took 30 seconds for me to be able to see my character. Went into a bossfight and cant even see the enemies. I die instantly to invisible enemies I can't even target because the game is displaying other peoples minions instead of important things I need to be able to see.

I'm not joking. Get on the ps3 version of ff14 and walk into Coerthas with a group. Have fun not being able to play the game.

Target enemies by holding R2 and tapping R1 it makes it easier.

Been to Coerthas and it's not as bad as you say it is. Certainly the game requires some optimization but that'll come with patches in the future.

It's stupid how SE made seeing other players a priority over monsters, so many times i've arrived at a FATE and couldn't do anything because it would be finish before anything shows up on my screen.

I've also had issues with this. Not being able to see myself after I am mounted for 30 seconds happens off and on in any zone. Though I have been assuming it was because I'm usually playing in a highly populated zone.

The worst is when you're in a Fate with lots of people (In ANY zone) and you can't see any of the mobs or even people but as THM I can just stand there and cast Blizzard II over and over again EVEN THOUGH I CAN'T SEE ANYTHING mind you and... I still get a gold medal for it XD... yeah... there are still some flaws with this system. I think I'm cheating sometimes.

Overall though it hasn't been enough of a problem for me that I haven't been able to enjoy playing. Though I have occasionally gotten frustrated. I'm still only level 30 though so I haven't gotten into Coerthas much yet.

An ssd will help, but I am not making excuses. Just trying to provide an option. Good luck friends. <3 PS3 version was a money grab , so close to the much more powerful PS4 release. Since its going to hold back the game in so many ways. But dat install base!!! <3 SE needs the money, players, and return on the ps3 dev investment. yadi yadi yada. but still, If they had faith in the game and its future. Keeping it PS4+PC only would have made it far more future proof, expansion wise. Just my 2 cents, dont hate me.

I feel for the PS3 players. It doesn't sound like a very pleasant experience. I know you don't want to hear this, but as a former console junkie, I bought an insanely maxed out pc about a year ago, and gaming is just an entirely different experience for me now. I've always played on a budget system and thought nothing of it, but I wouldn't go back after finally being able to experience a game as it was meant to be. I still love my PS3, but I can't imagine it being able to keep up with this game. I'd like to check it out sometime just to compare. The difference may not be as much as I think.
