I love the photo Tetriana. I'm sorry you were treated badly as well. I don't know why someone would not give you information if they felt you were doing something wrong. A simple explanation would have been nice.

I totally agree. That guy should go back to WoW, where douchey attitudes like his thrive. I wouldn't invite him to my behest parties.
Btw, no one will get mad if you cast Stygian spikes instead. But it is only SE's fault since they have the claim system in behests and guildleves. I have had to explain to people why not to attack yellow mobs and why not to cast shock spikes too, but man theres never a need to go crazy on someone.
PS: Lookin good![]()
Good for you and good for posting that picture putting a human face to the avatar. It's easy to act like an ass when you don't really see who's really there and people can't see you.
since i currently can't seem to "like" posts.
+1 op, your post is by far the most entertaining of the latest ones XD.
i had some of those encounters with elitist players calling my tank style or equip sets in FFXI shit while fighting HNMs.
fun times XD
another way to not make friends is being forum nazti >.>
ya......
its pretty rude to flat out tell people you are not welcome on a public forum for a game they do want to play or currently on break from
people post on forums for vaisous reasons
1 to learn about the game, where its going before they buy it.
2 are waiting for a release and wanting to make ingame connections so they have a server and linkshell/guild ready and waiting to invite them.
3 bordum of waiting for the game.
just because a person don't play yet don;t give you the right to chase themk away. That will pretty much losing a potental player.
also don't judge people or hold grudges. They might have had a bad day or had a hard time thinking of what to say.

Thank you. ^^
I think you definitely have a point about people hiding behind their avatars. I'd like to think that my real personality shines through to my character. I've honestly never made an enemy in a game or been spoken to in such a rude manner. I just imagine everyone as real people and speak to them as if they were sitting next to me.. lol.
At first I was like O_O, then I was like this, but then I was like this >:O rawr. The nerve of some people. I really wanted to screenshot it, but by the time the behest was over it disappeared from my chat log.
lol, Nice foto indeed.
I cant stand such stupid idiot who things they are overkill Hardcore Gamer just because they think its total normally to know everything.
I personally give Persons the respect they give me and for a logical process, if someone asks me i answer if i can but it seems its too much for some people.
Dont let it get you.
I'll be your friend OP. I don't care how you play. There's really no need for elitism in this game yet...
Also, I've never had a bad encounter in FFXIV yet, but people in FFXI have seriously left a bad taste in my mouth about a half a dozen times. That sounds dirty.

This guy is a rare example of the worst MMOs has to offer.
Yes, Shock Spikes does reduce your SP a bit if an unclaimed mob attacks you, that is true. But, let's be realistic here: From pure Shock spiking, you most likely wouldn't lose more than, say...10 or 20 SP per mob. Maybe *GASP* 30 sp. Sum up with all the mobs in the behest, let's assume all of them would attack shock spiked people while not being claimed...and maybe a grand total loss of 300 / 400 sp.
OH MY GOD YOU WILL MAKE ME KILL 4 MORE CREATURES TO RANK UP, WHAT A NOOB WHY ARE YOU USING SHOCK SPIKES DAMN SCRUBS WHY AREN'T YOU MAXIMIZING SP GAIN INSTEAD OF HAVING FUN, WHY.
