    Dynamic and not static boss/encounters mechanics? [Yes, Please]

    Hello there! I'd like to say that i expected much much more from the FF14 combat mechanics.. After playing XI (ok is an old game so it was ok even if it was very slow and STATIC) and WoW (maybe too much frenetic and fast sometimes... ) I've always dreamed an hybrid system from those two.
    I don't like the fact that in every actual encounter, you have to be for 10-15-20 min in the same pixel and spamming your abilities.. imho isn't so fun.. I'd like more dynamic fight not so frenetic as wow (there were some too crazy fight )..
    For example: let's take the new ququrn NM and the Bomb baron.. I would be very happy to see something like that the bomb will release a debuff random on someone in the party, so that player should run away from to others to not kill them! Or some mini-bombs spawn that will follow someone random and will explode, so everyone must go away from it ecc ecc.. Or the quiquirn that will trow random a lot bombs on players, and when it will explode it should release something like fire on the ground.. so you have to organize your space/camp to not be in an arena of fire! I don't want neither a FFXI clone (lot of ppl screaming for it.. so go to play it no? ) and even not a WoW clone (same discussion). We need simple something of fast, dynamic, but not too much frenetic like wow..

    Sorry for my bad english btw, "Like" if you'd like to see something like the examples that i wrote!

    I forgot to say that i tanked almost every actual NM.. And they're very very boring in my opinion.. Take the Dodore or the Goblin for example .. Everyone stays in his spot and spamm his ability till death.. no fun, no risk to die, 0 dynamic moves.. I know they're just firsts of incoming waves.. And as i wrote, i hope in those new ones !

    To be honest I wouldn't really say it was 'your idea', considering the things you've suggested are already in a lot of MMOs.

    But yeah, I'd say we need more interesting encounters in the future.

    Im sure not everyone here has seen the last battle of chains of promithia mission quest line in final fantasy 11 , but for me that was one the most amazing battles ever , toau and wotg also had some crazy battles , but not fast past , there where more tatical.

    I guess it all depend on how well the newer battle system is , atm in 14 the spamming of actions is a real issue for me and maybe others.

    The combat system is broken, and they're fixing it. Everything combat related is pretty much broken, the armory/job system/combat overhaul and hopefully a SP/mob adjustment will fix it all.
