"No valid or active service account is available to play FINAL FANTASY XIV: ARR"

So I played FFXIV when it first came out. I also played FFXI:


I was invited to the Beta and registered it before the 30th of last month and was able to play some. I was told constantly that as someone who played FFXIV I would be able to play this game at launch if I put in a subscription.

"Great!" I thought. I was going to pre order but thought "why?" when I was going to pretty much get the game for free. Game is launched...I try to log in and i get the topic title error message. I click the link to go to the mog station to activate my version and i have the following:



This also shows I have no characters, yet I am here on the forum with the character I played in Beta,

When I click on the meteor to add a service (or just click add service) I am asked to enter a code or to please purchase a window copy of the game.

Under that is an account status box:
"Account Type: None
Subscription: Inactive
Payment Method: None
Number of Characters: 2 Character（2）"

So this also shows that I have 2 characters.

Just...what am I doing wrong? I have the original Game Registered. I played it at launch and like many others stopped. I was invited to and participated in this Beta...and now I can't seem to find where 1.0 players get to play?

I am not concerned about the free days. I just simply want to figure out how to get the service to recognize my 1.0 status.

Has anyone had a similar issue and solved it? I did submit a ticket to Square in the mean time.

I have not bought a copy of the game yet. I will do that Friday if I can't figure this out.

Note that I had a blast in Beta and do not mind paying for the game at all. Every single MMO i've played since launch, and i've been doing so since the 90's, has had rough starts. I was expecting this, however this is one of the first times I can recall having a possibility of not having to actually buy a new copy of the game, which is the hang up for me. Had no one told me that I'd probably have gone and pre ordered the CE.

*UPDATE*

So I just tried to log in again. Same thing, however now the mog station or what ever shows my 2 characters from beta. Still not saying that I have an account or anything but...its a change i suppose.

Same thing here. I bought the digital version from the European PSN and it doesn't show up on the Mogstation. My characters from the beta are showing up now though....
