    Just drudging this up in case others are in the same boat and wondering. If you bought digitally from the SE Store, it seems that the least inefficient way to fix this is to just ask for a refund and upgrade digitally in the meantime, as their response indicates that it's possible to obtain a refund.

    Then again, it might be most prudent to wait to hear from someone who successfully got a refund first... I mean, I've come to expect the unexpected when it comes to SE and their "logic."

    If your a 1.0 account owner and got the digital CE download I would first contact support to inform them of the situation.

    This issue was never listed in the product site so they are responsible for not getting the correct information across, if they cannot offer something to compensate for the situation then get a refund.

    You can also add your voice to our request to give us a way to add the registration code to the digital account upgrade if you wish!

    Warnings have been sent, Damage has been done, Time to fix it

    This issue was expected long ago, right after they put the preorder website online.

    Almost immediatly players have detected this problem and tried to warn about what is happening today.
    We legitimately asked to be able to use the physical ARR CE code on the upgrade services as a bonus code, or reduction coupon so that it would be free (even at the cost of disabling the code to create a new account) to upgrade a standard v1 PC account.

    They were not unaware of this, and we have been heard.

    And the answer was : "there is no plan to do this"

    I love the game, and respect all the work you've done. I can understand mistakes all the more since you put so much effort to fix it, and bring it in a state even beyond expectations.

    But I can't accept such a poor decision made in all conscience.

    Players were able to make Microsoft bend in less time than you can say "xboxone".

    I don't want this to happen to you.

    Please do something, you have no choice.

    On the contrary it's a great opportunity for you to show that you care for your long time fans, and prove to those who can become the new ones that they can count on you in the future should another problem arise.

    I count on you and wish you the best, I hope you'll make good decisions.
