Quest after level 17

Hi,

There is the same kind of thread on the french forum but I do think the english communaty is more present.

I have that problem : No quest AT ALL after level 17.

Wherever I go, Nothing.

My little story : I am Arcanist level 18 + Marauder Level 12. I left my 1st city and used the lowest quest of the 2nd city to build my marauder. I had quest up to level 13-14. After that, nothing. So I left 2nd city for the 3rd. And again, low level quest available but I don't need that.

I have done mandate and can't do more.

My question is : where are the quests ??? I just met a PNJ with a quest Level 35. But between 14 and 35 ? Nothing ??

First off, have you done the airship quest? If so it would have taken you to 2 other continents, at 18 you should be able to do Satsasha already which is a quest given to you in Uldah...but all of that starts after you do the airship quest.

you have to do more of your story quests. (the ones with the flame icons)

The main story quest will have you travel to ALL the starter cities. New quest open up in the surrounding areas ONLY if you do some of the story mode quests.


IF you find this to be too slow...use guildleves and hests to get some good boost in XP.

I had the same problem and realized it was become i put off my story quest that had me talking to random people in limsa.
Once i did...i was sent all over. back to girdania, back to uldah etc. These quest will open up instances in all the starting areas, give you access to materia and your retainer.

you'll be sent to girdania to do the instance there, then the one in limsa, and the one in uldah. as you do them all...more quests open up in the zones.

I have visited the 3 cities (I am right now in the 3rd one) and the main quest is to go back to my 1st city to meet a guy. So, let see if there is more after that.




Honestly, this is really frustrating. Low quests until level 14 and nothing after that.

I'm almost level 19 and I'm still doing my story quests. Have you done the dungeons (as part of the main story line)? They'll help you level up fairly quickly (sastasha and TTD both gave me almost a level each) if you can get a party going so you can continue to do them as well as levequests, guild quests, and FATEs for exp.

I am on the waiting list (S.E must love waiting list, they are everywhere lol) for the 1st one,

I finally unlocked level 15-16 quests, This is better now.

if any doubt on the story quests, go back to the one you last finished and the next one available will be right in the immediate area... even if you arent high enough lvl to do it the icon is there
