Cutters Cry: 38 Myrmidon Princess

How to deal with this boss? im a Tank we tried aoeing the small adds down and trying to kill marshals but because we are in the middle all small adds go after range dps and take them out before i can get aggro because well my guys run like chickens.

We even tried to dps race the boss but it gets heals too much..

Any suggestions?

We just AoEd. DPS can tank the adds long enough if tank loses agro while they are AoEing. They wont live that long. AoE is the way to go. The thanks needs to just make sure theyre all in a nice cluster.

Im a white mage and here is how I have cleared it every single time:

I aggro every add through healing the tank, then I run around in circles like an idiot while casting Regen on the tank (Regen is instant cast so you never have to stop running), and the DPS focus exclusively on the boss as well, to bring it down asap
The fight will be over very quickly

From my experience if the WHM has an updated weapon (35+) Regen will be able to keep the tank healed without anything else, though most tanks also have Cure so they can add that extra healing if necessary

This seems to be a nice advice, have to try it out today with a party. We kept wiping yesterday due to the adds :S

DPS her, summoner makes it extra easy with miasma heal debuff.

In this fight you MUST kill the Marshall. The Marshall is what keeps the princess alive. After you kill the marshall just burn the princess down.

After several deaths trying to figure this fight out, tank her where you zone in. That's where the marshal spawns. Get her to 50% adds start spawning, make sure you burn the adds down and spam the shit out of Flash or MRD equivalent (ground slam thing). Keep the Marshall targeted till he's dead and interrupt the pheromone cast (that's the heal). If you the dps doesn't take out the adds, by the time you get close to killing her, you are going to be swarmed and eat pavement. If it makes you feel any better though, next two fights are cake.

this fight was annoying as hell on a scholar, i don't even know how i managed to do it

After my second attempted at CC i figured that there were so many at at the end, no point in trying to take em so, as the tank, I kited everything I could and had everyone attack princess only. I run fast enough that they won't even even touch me and by the time there are so many add we can't handle it she's usually as around 10-15%. Kill her on first try with that Strat.

Different boss, anyways Khim(last boss) thunder looking aoe is evadable? I ran all tho way to the sides a few times and still got hit. Battle was kinda hard(but i thought was fun to see a challenge) took 3rd attempt pug group of course. Pretty much blm was saying we sucked but ya, never seen him or any of us evade it. Other moves seemed pretty easy to avoid after are 1st attempt with no info. All tho are tank insisted on running circles around it constantly to avoid the charge breath..

(Well I'll answer my own question, standing on him makes you evade it. We where all moving away so ya~)

Look for the messages on the screen. Blue eyes = get away from boss. Violet eyes = get close to boss.
