CE arrived in mail code for PS3 doesn't work!

I ordered a hard copy of the CE for PS3. I received it yesterday 9/27. When I try to enter the code into my PS3 per instructions it gives me an error "Code is not valid, has been used or expired." How do I upgrade my existing account to this CE?

Not activated yet, 1PM PDT i think is the offical time.

I hope its Sony that needs to update the codes cause Sony updates the PSN Store every Tuesday
