[Dev Help Please] Character Transfers Early

I just want to get off Gilgamesh. I want to transfer to ANY other server, because every time the developers lock servers Gilgamesh is ALWAYS on those lists. I have 3 friends that are new to MMO's (competent gamers though) that want my help when playing the game. (at least in the beginning) However, there is no way in hell they will ever all get on Gilgamesh. I do not care if the character transfers are free or paid. I just want to move ASAP or my friends are going to quit.

lol Every server is full. There's nowhere to transfer to!

They aren't full. They just want to level out the servers, so they lock all the servers but the 3 or 4 that have minimal amounts of people to force people to those servers. Give it another 2 days or so and most of the servers will probably will open up. (This is only a guess. Obviously they haven't released any actual information, but if I had to guess, that would be it.)

I wouldn't expect a response. I've been asking about this since EA started and Leviathan, Gilgamesh, and Moogle have been seemingly perma-locked. They don't seem to be concerned, or even aware that people might want to play with established players. That, or they don't care. I'm personally not expecting this to be rectified by anything of their own doing... there will just be a sudden exodus of frustrated players who realize that this isn't worth their time, and only then when the population sorts itself out due to the lost subscribers will the servers allow stragglers on. It doesn't say much for the longevity of the game. It's of grave importance to ensure that friends and family can play together in a socially driven game like this.

Indeed. At this point, I'd just love for a sort of confirmation that they're actually listening at all.
