Storage - I need more space!

Hello all, I realize the game is fairly new but I have yet to find a way to increase storage space/bank items.

I'm the type of player who takes it slow, explores the world, picks up every little thing, plays almost every class/profession a little, etc. As such I tend to fill my inventory pretty quickly.

I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to do this, I'm running out of space pretty quickly! I could always sell most of my stuff, but still, this would be good to know. Thanks!

at lvl 19 in your story quest line...you earn the right to hire retainers. I believe...and i could be wrong...that they act as a bank and as a merchant. You can store items with them, and sell items on the market boards with them.


Until then...you WILL be forced to sell stuff to vendors for next to nothing if you can't use them.

Retainers can hold 175 items for you, and gems/gils

It isn't 19 because I'm level 18 and I have one. I think its as soon as you do the 3 dungeons. Level 18.

Also, I haven't had a problem with storage because I haven't started crafting yet. Crafting is what really fills your storage space. Make sure you have sold your Allgean(sp) peices and normal quality animal parts can go because there are a plenty of them on the Market Board.

Do you have your retainers yet? Thats where my mats I get from gathering and drops from mobs I kill go. Are you putting gear you want to keep in armory chest? Any special event items and AF that you don't use should go in your Armore in your Inn room.

If you haven't unlocked these things you should work on the main scenario quest line.

the quest is a lvl 19 quest. you CAN take it sooner. But the quest description is lvl 19.

you can pick up most quest 2-3 levels before the recommended level range.
