I really appreciate the entire Square-Enix team dedicated to the Final Fantasy XIV project both past and present. They have filled a void of MMO / FF Experience that we have been missing since WoW took the crown as MMO King.

With that being said,

I appreciate the efforts and work the team has put through the launch weekend to ensure we will be able to play.

I was able to play enough to get 15 Conjurer and 23 Gladiator all while experiencing new content. I did so without zerg rushing the login server and mashing through it. I'm a hardcore gamer, and yes I did wake up a 4AM play from 5AM Saturday (EST) til Midnight Sunday without a hitch. I did take breaks towards the end of the day when they did maintenance, and it's not a huge deal to me.

I understand the team, and I hope my fellow community players will too. Be more mature about it, maybe I'm a bit older since I've played a lot of MMO's dating back to UO, but FFXI was a great game, and FFXIV will be great as well. They ensured it by giving it another chance with ARR and I am not disappointed.

I understand server structure complexities and do not hate or complain efforts. They are trying, and doing their jobs to the best of their abilities. All I ask is adequate time to play through a month to make progression, which I feel like this weekend I have made decent progress.

Keep at it, team, and I hope you read this, through all the negativity and void of complaints that seems to be coming and bashing the team. Here's one to keep you going.

Take Care,
Gray Spy
