Where do you mine silver ore?

Sorry for the simple noobish question but I have honestly tried searching online and all over Eorzea but I can't seem to find any and I'm at the level of crafting where a lot of my recipes are requiring it. Anyone know where to get it or am I just too low level to see it yet? (lvl 20 min)

I saw that on a few forums/guides but when I walked around South Shroud I couldn't find anything so I just figured it changed in ARR. Then I just read another guide that said you have to be level 6 to access level 10 nodes, 11 to access 15 nodes, and so on. I guess that means 21 to access level 25 nodes. Since I'm only 20 I guess that means it's time to grind out another level. Wish the mine-grind wasn't so bad but it is what it is. Time to get cracking.

to level faster you should do leves for mining, it is a lot better than mining nodes. And gives a lot more xp.

Silver Ore is found in South Shroud just North of I think it is called <something> Druthers. Sorry can't verify since the NA login services are down again. It is the 1st settlement you get to as you enter from Central Shroud. You do have to have mining 21 to see it since it is a level 25 mining node.

Thanks all, this helped, i couldn't find the silver ore nodes in South Shroud, didn't realize I had to be 21 to see 25 nodes, i was only 20, so I was going nuts trying to find them!

I felt so blind when my brother pointed out that all ore/mineral locations were in the Gathering Log. Before that, I was running around with Prospect on my Disciples of Magic and hoping I ran into new mining locations >.<

Yep, you can detect new nodes on the "1" or "6" levels. (11, 21, 31, 16, 26, 36)
