nor am i, im using your example of pvp servers and non pvp servers. It would split the player base as such into two main types of servers. With only 1 server you get a veriety of players.
Indeed: a variety of players who cannot act on their variety for being forced to play the way the server tells them to.

Also, you forget. How is pvp to be implimented when crafters are legitimate jobs/classes/roles? IF any such pvp existed, how would the crafting roles be included in this? or do you suggest they just get whacked on a regular basis? if this is the case, such servers would have no crafters. imbalance right there
... Karma system, crafting in towns, guild protection (inspires loyalty to Linkshell), or do what any of the other games with crafting classes do.
