Different Server Types

They have some future plans (companies etc). Tbh, the lore itself doesnt really have room for pvp. Also, by the looks of things, the playerbase doesnt seem fond of pvp too much either.

I understand that there may be aspects from other MMO's you are wanting, but not every MMO is going to the same aspects as the others. There have been no suggestions on pvp for future development. Unless something unexpected happens it is doubtfull we would hear anything regarding pvp. The FF series has always been about teamwork, but fighting against each other.

The lore doesn't support PvP? Do you even play FFXIV. Yesterday I got attacked by a bandit pikeman... it was an Elezen NPC. It could just as easily been a player.

And LOL, you obviously haven't been following this game very long, have you? Long before release, SE were even considering a PvP server. While they weren't encouraging one, they thought of releasing one. Also, when Tanaka was in charge, SE mentioned implementing PvP sometime after release.

It's funny to see that you think you and you alone get to decide what a FF MMO should be. Even I would not be so bold as say I should get to decide. Hence the mutiple server suggestion. I'm only thinking of SE's welfare.
