Different Server Types

SE have already stated and i said this over +5 time and many others done the same. They wont ever add PVP,PVE,RP,Casual,Hardcore - Worlds or JP,EU,DU,NA world for that matter or PS3 and PC worlds. It's up to players to do that for themself. Beside is know for RP world if you want to do some RP join that world but you can RP any world just make a linkshell post it on here and every fansite and start your own RP ls.

Um, and why shouldn't they add PvP and PvE servers, and why shouldn't they add official role-play servers? If you just state 'no' without providing a reasonable basis for doing so, you can see why some of us might laugh in your face. LOL, people on this forum are hilarious.

O.o dude SE said no the idea of FFXI and FFXIV is to play all together the game is base of PVE. Even if they add PVP it wont be open PK just FFXI base type system PVP so why even make a PVP Base of only that? JP themself want there own world and SE said no to them back before the game was even release in E3. So the only one really laughing and saying people on this forums are hilarious would be me would it not?

A lot of players here have said this 100x before SE said no the JP themself ask for JP only worlds and got turn down.

@gifthorse : it would effect us all because FFXIV would never have enough players to cut them up in diff severs the players base would be low for RP and PVP

So please don't be Rude to others read the interview even Yoshio-P said no Open PK. I don't think they even thinking of doing RP,pvp,PVE worlds also.

I mean, the fact that you would fight against the implememtation of a PvP and RP server that would not even effect you, but only serve to add to SE's revenue is the funniest thing. From my point of view anyway.

Because PvP outcry about class balance is probably one of the biggest annoyances in the PvE world. Constant nerfing and buffing, drives people batty.

You asked why there shouldn't be a PvP server. I just gave my opinion.

But they should think about it. If they aren't going to give people regional servers (for low latency) then at the very least they should let people have server-types which they want to play. Role players don't want to play with non-role players. There is no reason people who want PvP shouldn't be able to have PvP provided it doesnt impose itself on people who don't want it, and the only way that can happen is with a different server with a different rule set.

SE should try and foster different kinds of players which they are able to attract with minimal effort. The amount of revenue gained would outweight the cost, I'm sure. But obviously they don't have any business sense.

It's not about Business sense there trying to sell something that is not a wow clone. FF is not about PVP they would never add open PK they said this many times. Let's say they add pvp world that you could PK and stuff then how would players enjoy level up and do craft and other stuff? they have to make a new overall rule for the game that could take months to do. They just not going to waste that much time then see it fail because not a lot of players like the PVP system. Jp don't like open PK i think this was one of the business decisions they took when making FFXIV see what the JP like and add it. Each part of the world have there own way of playing MMO.

The big selling point for FFXIV is "We not trying to be like everyone else" PVP right now is not even on there list they did say there working on something. But we all know it the UI'dah PVP system you go in 1Vs1 2vs2 3vs3. Maybe we may even get Ship battle pvp system.

At the end FFXIV would never have enough players to have the need of making pvp,pve,RP worlds.

If the selling point of FFXIV is not to implement stuff that there is a market for... and a market which they could easily attract if they wanted to... in a way that wouldn't deter their current playerbase... then WOW! Theyre so smart.

Excuse me, isn't that what you're doing? seeing as you have already made this exact post before, it can be percieved that you are the one who believes he dictates what should and shouldnt be ingame.

I am not the only one to state that SE are against pvp, and not only in this thread. If you are going to throw your rattle out of the pram everytime someone has a different opinion to you, how do you suggest people take your ideas seriously?
