make 2 sub jobs possible one 30 one 60 subjob

you got one job 30 one 60 one 90


when you start your class you have to do a small quest you get an item an amulet or stone who decide the job you wanna play equiping this amulet will decide the job you play but you are free use all weapons but base skill should be low for the one not fitting your class

Or maybe a system you can combine classes warrior 90 sub 60 alchemy make posion attack with his sword or a slepping attack if he equiped ammo slot with sleeping powder

Warrior 90 Blacksmith 60 get a bonus on damage from his sword or a skill like sharpen the metal the skill makes your weapon damage raise when you sharpen it

Paladin 90 Armorsmith 60 Bonus on his base defence when he equip Armor he can adjust it to give him benefit like extra defence from equiped heavy gear the armorer makes could make a skill adjust the armour your defence going up after using the skill

Warrior 90 Tharmatuge 60 combined little extra magic attack on the sword

Conjurer 90 Woodworking 60 Clothcraft 30 combined a good mage Boost good on his staff from wood working and little clothing boost from his clothcraft

Keep the races but get one new race make them with diffrent base stats

Make a easy merit system from 90 you build on your race example every 10k exp you can put one extra up in base stats second raise same stats cost doubble to raise again and so on

Crafting classes should be able to raise there crafting skill and base stats also with merits built in from start whn they got level 90

You should also be able to equip all weapons but all classes have base stats you can change with merits when you hit 90

In the end you can build a thf who can handle a staff or greataxe good but it gonna cost alot more time then it takes for the mage or warrior handle that type of weapons

Area with nice design like sky you farm to fight in stages only thing sky missed was a better design of drops for diffrent classes

If Sky in FFXI had little more for mages and thf it would have been nice

Get the aggro system back like in FFXI sneak vision sound

Get the old stats back STR DEX AGI MND INT CHR

Make 6 races 5 old one new let then represents each stats

Get the old skill chain system back in a upgraded version with longer chains possible maybe 10 chains after each other if you follow right element of the attack

Change equip to classes specific and level needed to use it

Make the missions better and harder

Make HNM fight where you have to work as team for example a dragon you need do special attack to not be able kill your party stay out of range aoe hit a specific body part to stop that move he try do or stun bind dispel

Get options to wear a mantle

Get range acc and normal acc back

And at last a hot tub for tired players waiting for the above updates should be fast to add in each city
