PVP...?

Any news on PVP? Is it still in a "generic" for lack of a better term, at the moment? I heard you had to finish a portion of the story quest and select you GC before accessing this. Anyone tried it yet and can shed their thoughts on the potential of it? Any other game comparisons/ similarities?

the basic battle arena was tested in beta 4 but it won't officially launch until patch 2.1. There is a second, more elaborate event called 'frontlines' that will also be avialable at some point after that.

Testing was conducted without any of the special actions they are creating to help balance PvP, so it wasn't exactly perfectly balanced at the time, but again, it was incomplete.

You will access PvP by going to The Wolve's Den Pier in la noscea and talking to the NPC at the registraiton counter. There is an aetheryte in that area, so you might want to visit it before then.
