After you beat Ifrit you have to speak with Tancred at Camp Drybone. After that I believe you go back to the Waking Sands and speak with Milfina again.
What is the name of the quest you picked? So after a long wait i was finally able to re-start my relic quest Monday morning. just for those who are curious. I think you have to complete the main story and maybe job quests for your job (unconfirmed) and then head towards waking sands and talk to Nedrick Ironheart and he will give you the quest.
So far it seems pretty easy (Artemis Bow) go speak to Rowena who then sends you to Gerolt. you will then have to go get teh worn weapon from a coffer in Natalan.
Then teh double meld - huge change here no Sarnga involved LMAO- Longarm's Composite Bow with 2 level III heaven's eye materia.
Next is to head out to coerthas and kill a D'horme Chimera
And unfortunately that's all im up to as i have yet to find a group to kill it hope this helps those wondering where to start etc.
in 1.23 I was on the last part of relic Ifrit Extreme. I assume Yoshida will keep his promise "Relic progress will be saved from 1.0" It sounds amazing that he nerfed it so everyone could get it, but for those of us who completed the 1.0 requisites for relic and are on the final stage might as well just give us the relic for all the months spent on it
So I see the level 47 recipe's for all DoH Relic making classes,
But it looks like each one requires some "bloody xxxx piece" to craft, anyone have info on all this?
Someone on Reddit posted this list:
- Finish Main Story + Class Quests
- Talk to the dungeon guy in Vesper Bay
- Rowena @ Revenants Toll
- Gerolt @ Hyrstmill
- Grab broken relic in a beastmen stronghold
- Double III Class Weapon meld (for WHM -> madman's whispering rod + 2 Quicktongue III)
- Alumina Salts from Chimera in Cutters Cry
- Amdapor Glyph from Amdapor Keep
- Slay 24 mobs in a certain beastman dungeon
- Slay Hydra @ Halatali
- White-hot ember from Ifrit Hard
- Howling Gale from Garuda Hard
- Hyperfused Ore from Titan Hard
Maybe theres more after that, but I highly doubt it.

Okay, so in 1.0 i got all the way up to needing to do Darkhold <15min speed run. Therefore had already handed over my double-meld Astrolabe but according to my 'Legacy Quests Tracker' i am only on Part 4 of this quest?
How can that be! I can prove it by the old items i have in my inventory from the Chocobo Escort and Behest. I already handed over my Salts and Mythrils from AV & CC.
I hope once i get past the main story that it will show me as not needing to double meld anything.
Anyone else in a similar situation? I would really love a refund of the double meld Astrolabe! >.>![]()

im on the final part of relic but I haven't finished main story on ARR to reactivate it. Yoshi promised we would continue where we left off, and im on the final stage so I expect to be on final stage when I reactivate it.Okay, so in 1.0 i got all the way up to needing to do Darkhold <15min speed run. My question is for those that had 50 classes since 1.0, do we have to do those 30-50 job quests again, I did mine to 30 just to get the new skills, but I really do not want to do the job quests again
