Please SE, rename the Datacenters

to relieve the NA/EU servers it would be a good idea if people also start to create characters on the JP servers. But the naming of the datacenters hinder them, thinking that JP servers are only for JP people.

So I thought, why not rename the datacenters? Instead of JP and NA/EU call them Galaxy1 and Galaxy2 or something else. Then the server load would spread evenly.

The naming is fine, its the people who perceived it that way.
The naming is not the issue, the people is, change the people not the name.

Heck fix the servers, and no one would bat an eye on the naming.

I avoided all JP servers since I figured it would be hard to find English speaking players, I wish they wouldn't have seperated the servers the way they did and just kept em mixed like FFXI and all you went by was just what server sounded nice.

What's funny is I've encountered tons of english speaking people on Gungnir (Legacy)

And the server is quiet and all around nice... I think I'll be making my escape there while Hyperion gets its act together.

It might also be the case that people don't want to play with 260 ping. Since my average ping to the NA/EU servers is between 80-160 and to JP is 260-380.
