I can see SE wanting to isolate the v1 characters with most classes Lv50 and over 20M gil, but there are a lot that don't have anything near that. On the other hand, if 4 straight weeks of 24-hour teleport-hack gather-bots and non-stop RMT ads haven't tanked the economies, maybe nothing will.

But seriously, I would like to see it happen sooner than later. It's kind of confusing running 2 characters on 2 different servers.

Anyone who has a Legacy character and who's started a new one elsewhere will know just how mega-rich their V1 toon is in comparison to most of the non-gil-buying population on the new servers.
