As in October 1st? October 7th? Come on. Can you just state a specific date? It's been over a month since I've been able to hang online with my friends. Is a date really that hard to commit to?

news is out, transfer is set on 15-20th oct, and shitz, it will not be smooth at all, very very consitpated, listing them out 1 by 1 again here will make S.E. look v.bad. Other similar threads have many smart players discussing about the bad stuff.
Mmorpg is for players and frens to interact the game together. but s.e. .............. sigh.

Ya this is just lame that all the people that I talk this game up to and get them excited and ready to play come to find out that they cant even play with me and my other friends because OH WOW SERVER IS FULL! Why is it even ok that JP servers have an additional world and yet when you look at the numbers NA/EU exceed the JP player base. I keep saying this but SE doesn't want to hear it even though it would have and will solve A LOT of problems...give EU its own data center in EU!!!!! That would give NA a full server of 30 worlds and EU its own server of 30 worlds! Bam! congestion problem...No problem! Come on SE stop treating the rest of the world as a lesser then JP, Seeing as most of your money is going to be coming from the combined NA/EU population.

Just hoping that my destination server has space to take me, it still has limited access. Getting tired of playing a solo rpg on an mmo since my guild is on another server. I really hate to sub and be told beginning of Dec.

Well, a post has been made with some explanations and cautionary info. (See DevTracker, top right of page.) Now we wait a few hours, or maybe a day or so, for the official or unofficial translations. There's no obvious start date. There are lists of most and least congested worlds, and some warnings about transferring to busy worlds (may increase world congestion), and stuff like gil limits, transferers may be prevented from logging in for several days while transfer happens, etc.
