    Dungeon Experience

    I think the experience gains in dungeons need to be tweaked upward. I've been discussing this with my LS and a few people I have run with, and at least a few of the Dungeon seem to award negligible experience points. One specific example would be Thousand Maws Toto-Rak. One Full run net people in my groups approximately 25k-30k experience for 30-40minutes of time and effort. I can earn 2-3x that while questing, or running FATEs.

    My experience is limited to pre lvl 30 content, so I am not sure if this improves with future dungeons. I am curious what the consensus is regarding dungeon experience? Too Low? About right?

    My experience is limited to the first two dungeons (Sas and TTD), but my personal preference would be to keep the XP how it is or at most, a slight tweak so that it's proportional to time spent. I'm concerned that increasing it too much may result in players preferring dungeons to other sources of XP, leading to more players in instances, which would lead to an empty world. This is how some other MMOs (like RIFT and WoW) started to feel to me - sitting in cities spamming dungeons.

    Just my opinion.

    There aren't a ton of quests when you get higher level, so dungeons are one of the few ways to earn exp... unless you don't mind grinding fates.

    But there aren't a lot of high level people running around on new servers, so you can't even grind fates unless you have a group of friends.

    Only for the first 2 weeks then this will not ever be a issue.

    My opinion: It's OK. Maybe a little on the low side. 10 to 50% increase would be fine, but not more.

    Yes, it's definitely less than what you would get questing or running FATEs, but gear usually better and it's a different type of play (fun, some would call it). So even with lower XP I often choose to do dungeons repeatedly instead of other things.

    I've done all the dungeons up to Haukke Manor and I love them. They have a very good pace and interesting boss fights. I avg about 30-40 mins per run and we rarely wipe. I seem to get half a level at least in XP.

    That'll change as you go further on. Both the XP and the rarely wiping part (assuming you're using DF groups, elite FC might still keep the rarely wiping part).

    needs double or triple the xp, theres no quests at all for 47-50

    i rather do 130 fates for other classes than for 3 lvl

    I think in terms of 40-50 content the dungeon experience is perfect. Everyone should keep in mind you are earning plenty of Tomes which is well worth it. So i'd stick to that even if quests and fates outclass them.

    For the lower levels 40 and below I still think the rewards outweigh the lower experience. The various gear sets counterbalance the experience. I'd say about right.
