UPDATE:

I noticed after logging in after a crash, my character was dead even though I was offline. This leads me to believe that after a crash, your character is never logged out.

Adding insult to injury. After yet another crash, I've been getting 1017 for the past 6 hours. Making me think I'm only getting the error because the game still considers me logged in, preventing me from logging in "another" character since the server is locked.

At this rate, I really hope the issues are fixed before it comes time to subscribe or not. I just don't have the patience for the random crashes and the 1017 lockouts. Especially after only being able to play for a handful of hours during the entire early access. I want to play when I have the time, not just when the server says I can.
