No Active Service Account

i was under the impression that original owners were getting the game and 14 days free i have an account that was set up back in 2010 i played in the beta phase 3 and 4 havent changed my account or done any upgrading but as of yet still cant log in and the mogstation is giving me all kinds of grief do i really have to buy the game again to get a registration code or are we going to recieve a code late will they just change our accounts and we'll be able to log in??? Will any one from SE give people like myself who are sitting in limbo an answer?? even dangle a carrot for us so we feel a little better?

I'm in the same boat man....played awhile ago when the game was completely free..bought the digital standard edition from SE's website. the game was shut down before I payed any monthly subscription so i never actually paid the monthly fee from 1.0. I read everywhere that anyone who had 1.0 gets free access to ARR. I have the same message on mogstation though: Service account: inactive! account type: none Characters: none! I had a level 20 lancer on 1.0, a level 4 MRD in beta phase 4.....all gone??? One thing is weird though....beside the account status i see: Final Fantasy XIV 1, but it says below that: the following services are available for this service account: ffxiv a relm reborn- beta test windows is registered to this service account....so what Happened to my full ffxiv 1 service account???

I had the same issue on early access day, when I went and bought the 30$ upgrade from the SE site I was able to play instantly. So my guess is that they would like some money.

I'm planning on upgrading to the digital CE to get the goods...is that option live yet? if anyone could be so kind as to post the link?

I have something similar. I haven't bought the CE, just a Digital Download for PC last week. I only have one service account on which I registered the EA, but according to Mog Station:

account status: FFXIV 1 (nothing else);
FFXIV: A Realm Reborn - Beta Test Windows(R) ,FFXIV: A Realm Reborn - Pre-Order Code Windows(R) is registered to this service account. (even though I never played any phase of the Beta);
First line just display a grey bigger "* None" (I believe it would be for platform)
Second line displays "Standard" "Remaning days: 3 days (Free trial period)
And under Characters tab: "You have no available characters" (even though I got 3 on 3 different servers)

It does mention I got the preorder bonus items.

Frankly, I don't understand that whole mess! It looks like I have no platform registered, even though the preorder code is registered on that service account. And when I try to add a platform, it tells me the code has already been registered.

Anyone having the same problem?

In the same boat, my service history shows registering the product from sept 2010, but I have no ffxiv 2 tab and account just says no active subs, typical square account management skills
