    Game code and CE code confusion. Created seperate account.

    First off. Love the game, I have had zero issues so far! Except one.
    Upon recieving my game code (CE edition) I had looked for information to input the code.
    Now I took the time to read the email word for word making sure I dont miss anything.
    Do this with all SE emails, as they can be a little difficult if you dont know what you're looking for.
    Well anyways, I had input the code on the Mogstation into the "Add New Service Account".
    Well I quickly learned this was the wrong way to go upon logging in, I realized I should have input the code in the link below that just says add windows service.
    It's a common mistake please dont troll. Im sure many other users had this problem, as there are many hastier players then I am.
    Question is, because now my 30 day game time is on a seperate linked account, and not the one with one with my character that I've logged some solid hours into.
    Is there any way to merge these accounts?
    Ive tried contacting NA customer support all day but without call waiting, it was impossible to get through. No doubt some players venting there frustration with all the issues so far.
    Thanks for the help. If anyone can get my going in the right direction to resolve this issue it would be much appreciated. <3

    Yeah, just a little more warning. From what I remember (it was midnight maybe it slipped past me) it never gave me a notification that it was creating an entirely seperate unrelated account for the time and items. Maybe us westerners are a little used to BIG BLOCK LETTERS SPOONFEEDING us the obvious. But a dedicated confirmation page relaying this information before it was finalized would not have slipped past me. An unfortunate event, I was avoiding spending guild seals on a chocobo to get that edge. Alas. I fear I may bite the bullet as it may be a while for this issue to be resolved. Its a fairly simple issue, with numerous ways to resolve it. 1)merge the accounts 2) Cancel that code and issue a new one. Seem like most obvious ways about it. But who knows, I dont know what goes on with the programming. Itll be resolved im sure. Its a common issue a lot of people are running into.
