Thread: Purchased 1.0, unable to log in

I purchased version 1.0 in Sept 2010, and my FFXIV code is registered under the Square Enix account login, but only my beta account is listed under the mog station login which is causing me not to be able to log into the game - says I need to register. When I try to register my 1.0 game key at the mog station it says it has already been registered, obviously because it's under my SE account login.

Anyone else having this issue? I was under the impression that all 1.0 users did not have to re-purchase the game. If that is the case, how are we supposed to transfer our 1.0 accounts over to mog station so we can actually log in?

bump....i thought this would be more pressing issue....guess everyone else pre-ordered for early access...

Ya same here. Im not a legacy player so no early access. Everything i've heard, were still supposed to get a registration code.

I think might end up purchasing the game afterall

I have 1.0 and am not buying any arr ps3 or PC I can just play early access through the beta/game client they provided through their site and just login with your 1.0 account. Good luck

bump, i also submitted a ticket days ago and have not had a response. I would love SE to provide some support to us non-legacy people who still paid for 1.0

My wife is also having this trouble. We both played briefly during the original release of FFXIV. We both participated in phase 3 and phase 4 beta for ARR. I am able to log into the game but she is not. Mog Stations shows my account was registered in 2010 but hers was not registered until Jun 27, 2013. She decided she did not want to wait for Squenix to fix the issue (I have an open ticket from yesterday) and instead tried to purchase the game and apply her new code to her old account. We followed the directions on the Mog Station which directed us to the Squenix store. We tried purchased the C.E. digital download for the PC. I say try as I'm not sure that we were successful because there was no confirmation of the purchase. There was no prompt to start the download nor was there an email sent to her with instructions. We tried to access the store history to see if the purchase went through.. but we couldn't find it. We are confused and upset.

I'm also having this issue. Final Fantasy XIV 1.0 registered Sept. 2010.
But I am unable to access ARR (Mog station lists only Beta registration and is asking for a new code?)

Their customer service leaves something to be desired. I attempted the chat support option since my email ticket remains unaddressed. Waiting over an hour and a half in queue just to receive the message "Status: Cancelled. There are no agents available to chat with you right now. Please try again later." I'm really disappointed in the support 1.0 users who do not qualify for legacy status are receiving. I haven't found any sort of instruction on how to reactivate your 1.0 account. They haven't updated their knowledge base at all to address this issue which sounds like it's a fairly common one.
