    AMD 13.8 Beta2 crashing problem

    Not the game. The drivers. Occasionally the drivers will stop responding and restart on their own. Am I the only one having this problem? During Phase 4 I never had it happen but yesterday it happened 4 times within 20 minutes. Temperature is fine, it is staying under 65 which is the norm.

    Windows 7 Home Premium x64
    VisionTek HD 6870 1GB

    I may have caught a glimpse of it before the tooltip disappeared but do AMD drivers send in a crash report when the driver has to restart due to not responding?

    Have you checked your event view to see what is the error message? try a System Restore of which before you upgraded your graphics drivers.

    But I suggest checking in your event viewer for errors.

    Yes I know about checking that and I disabled System Restore because I'd rather format than use that.

    No problems on my end. I have 13.8 Beta2 with a Sapphire Radeon 7870 GHz Edition. I would trying uninstalling your drivers, rebooting windows, installs 13.8 again, rebooting then trying FFXIV. If that does not work just use the 13.4.
