Yeah I get if people cleared turn 1 and now are on turn 2 they can't go back,that has always been a thing. What I'm saying is I was picked up from my LS to do Turn 2 cleared it up to Turn 4, now I can't pug for Turn 1.

They probably made it this way so it would prevent the inevitable drama that would ensue where you clear turn 1 with a pug just to have to tell them "nah guys I cleared the rest thanks for the loot I may or may not have gotten". Only game I've really known to do anything like that is WoW but the fault there is coming into this thinking everything will be like WoW.

WoW has always been that way as well if you jump forward in progression you can't go back to a previous boss.

Wow hasn't been like that for awhile. Raid Finder allows you to fight any boss you never got loot from.

Please do not equate Raid Finder with Coil.

Coil =/= Raid Finder. They already said they are looking into Crystal Tower using the same mechanic, where you can't get loot from bosses that have already been beaten by you, but you can do them again for other people.
