I see many FC's use this strategy and it just seems utterly pointless. It takes half a second to pass rot, you are essentially just gimping your healers. I'm sure if bard can DPS/Silence/keep Ballad/Requim up/pass Rot/ and dodge lines the healers can take the half of a second to pass rot. Just my 2 cents.

The fact that you're using Bards as an example is already a sign that you're putting up a wrong argument. Healers need to stand in place in order to cast their heals. That .5-1 second wasted moving can pretty much end your run.
