question: If I do turn 4 today, will I be saved for turn 1 and turn 2 for the week? meaning I can't join turn 1 and turn 2?

Did my first coil run with an extremely friendly pug group yesterday and ended up playing till 2 AM to beat Turn 1.
...I can already feel this is going to ruin my life. Even turn 1 was extremely fun, can't wait for the rest.
Honestly I found the majority of Coil to be boring. Turn 4 was exciting at first because of how well tuned it is, but after the first kill even that became a snooze fest. The mechanics seem pretty simple, most of the difficulty seemed to come from massive amounts of tank damage.Did my first coil run with an extremely friendly pug group yesterday and ended up playing till 2 AM to beat Turn 1.

I don't dislike Coil, but at the same time it just doesn't give me the same feeling as a long 12 boss Raid instance where I'm working my way up towards a final boss. Hopefully that will change as they add in more turns.

Well, I will admit that part of my enthusiasm is certainly due to it being my first time there, and the shenanigans happening on TS. The first ADS battle was also a shock, first engage lasted literally 20 seconds. I will agree that the mechanics themselves aren't that exciting (and on Caduceus itself our winning strategy was actually to largely ignore them and DPS it before it DPS'd us), but damn.
As a healer, this was the first battle where I actually had to pay attention to multiple people, consider when to use Lustrate or not, consider which tank to top first, manage mana a bit better than normal, and need to be constantly healing. Even on Titan there's several "I'm not even sure why we have two healers here" moments, but definitely not on Caduceus.

Coil =/= Raid Finder. They already said they are looking into Crystal Tower using the same mechanic, where you can't get loot from bosses that have already been beaten by you, but you can do them again for other people.
An Crystal Tower will be accessible through DutyFinder

Well after farming Turns 1-4 for a couple of weeks, it's now down to just a 1hour speed run, and laughing at the DRG who somehow still manages to get cleaved.

wait... did you really just try to equate this to LFR? That content is such a joke it shouldn't even exist in the first place... I actually like quite a few things that WoW has pushed forward into the main front (even if they weren't the first to do something... they feel like the Apple of MMOs), but that doesn't mean that everything they do is gold, and far from it. This is one of those things.
Even if you want to compare this to wow, then the relevant thing to compare to should be Heroic Raid content, and you cannot (unless something has changed) go kill boss 6-12 then go back and do boss 1 - 5.
Yeah, I hope they really work on fixing this for 2.1, and that 2.1 comes soon.
Twintania is like bashing your head against a wall. It takes such a long time to figure out her mechanics, because there are no hints on what her abilities do, or how you're intended to counter them.
Spending 8 minutes (pulling a number out of my ass) getting to a phase, then wiping after 30 seconds and not being sure whether the problem was your strategy or execution, is a huge burn out.
The same problem exists with Allagan Rot. For those of us who did ADS before there were guides or information, there was no way to figure out what Allagan Rot did without wiping a few times. This isn't good design; it was only more bearable on ADS because the rest of it's mechanics have distinct indicators to let you know what's going on.
Twintania is similar to Allagan Rot, in that the game gives you absolutely no information to work with, forcing you to wipe for days just to figure out 1/6th of the encounter, not counting the time it takes to come up with a working strategy and perfect execution.
Even something like indicators of where Twintania may appear during one of the phases would make the encounter more reasonable.
