SE Please Give A How To For Code Registration!!!

After having been on these forums the past 3 hours trying to help people, it's become obvious to me that 90% of the codes that people say don't work are not because they don't work but are because they are doing it wrong. This is because the mogstation is so poorly designed/translated that it is very difficult to understand what is going on.

When I have more patience and have slept for a few hours I may put up my own step by step guide, but I would really like SE to do it.

The issues I have are with regions. My account is an EU/Other Region one but my Legacy characters got placed on the NA servers.. which I now cant register to play with....

How do I fix that?

The correct way to register the code after receiving it is:

1. Go to Account Status
2. Click on add Windows or PlayStation Service which will be on the top left hand and NOT ON "Add new service Account" (if you do that you create new account!!!!!)
3. There is a chance you wont have those 2 buttons on the top left, that means you have a small square button on the bottom left side with a + and something that looks like a ball of fire. Press that.
4. Add the code.
5. Enjoy 33 free days

Codes........................god the nightmare!!! had to input 4-5 codes to play beta/ea its like they give you a code for a code and they dont explain what to do with it so you had to go to forums and google searches.........god that sucked

I can't get into much detail because i'm heading out but make sure you are using the right code given to you you probably got a few of them. And that you are using mogstation to enter them. Do not click on "add new service account" only "add windows service".
The last person I helped with that issue was because they were using the wrong code in the wrong place.

at point 2, "Add new service account" doesn't mean you create a new account.
It means you add new service account on your current account.
Confusing in many ways, yeah, but that button does that function (I'm fallen into this trap too, HORRAYY !!)

Like PsychicKoala said, just use the "Add Windows Service" button, if you have played Beta Phase and you wanted to continue using your beta character.

Ok, i did that, looked good, but its not showing my character(s). im 100% sure i logged onto the Mog using the same account/pass/security token i use to log onto the game.
so im not sure why its not showing my char?

Everything else seems ok. I only have 1 square windows account, and 1 character.. i use the same log in for both the loadstone/game/mogstation. ?

If you log into the game is your character there, the mogstation is bugged with the character list right now.

please someone... how do you find your psn code? its been hours since i registered the one online that came in the box but i cant load the game on my ps3 because i dont have a psn code??

yes, im on loadstone too, and its showing the progress i made last nite. when i logged on yesterday, i did get the pre-order items. the cap/minion items.

I am guessing when i log in i will get the CE stuff? if so, then i wont be worried.

i did not know the mog station char.list was bugged. that makes me feel better..
