1.0 CE PC player, Bought PS3 CE but can't redeem code on PSN?

I'm a 1.0 CE player and decided to buy the PS3 CE so I could play on both (as 1.0 get a copy of PC CE etc) but the PS3 registration code in the box does seem to work on PSN (like it says in page 3 of the manual etc!) I get the error: "The code you entered may not be correct or may no longer be valid" I thought oh maybe its not valid until 27th so I waited to try again today and still nothing any ideas?

Many people are having this issue, just wait for it to be sorted out.
