The video made me cry. Mainly because I generally cry when people cry because I'd weird/emotional. Yoshi has taken something that failed and evolved it into something awesome back. Everyone seems to only be complaining about server issues (from what I've read) and you know what, that's a good thing in away. They're not complaining about the content and the fact everyone was getting so frustrated with the downtime just proves they wanted to be IN the world and PLAY! Yoshi P must love that people want to play his game!

I do however want to see the people responsible for the NA/EU data centre called to task for the constant problems that centre has experienced. the difference between how the JP centre and how the NA/EU centre has handled Early Access and launch is striking and a serious blow to the team who put so much into this game, twice.

and for all those complaining about how JP gets "better" treatment and saying childish stuff like "SE hates Americans", its worth remembering that in all likelihood the people running the NA/EU data centre are from the US...

People are assholes, what're you gonna do. Just look at Rydis' post above. Just gotta ignore internet tough guys like that. Yoshi-P and his team aren't purposely trying to make you people miserable. They are working round the clock and the evidence is clear. Sunday was infinitely better than Saturday. Monday was infinitely better than Sunday.

Servers are full, logins have to be restricted. Hopefully they can implement a better queue and auto kick AFK system. Until then, just keep trying till you get in. I got 90000'd 3 times yesterday. First time I was able to get back in, next time it took 15 minutes. The last time in the evening took me an hour. That is frustrating, sure. But w/e. Deal with it and keep trying. Its the initial rush, servers will be loaded now more than they ever will. I'm sure SE is doing all they can, they didn't remake this game and work so hard just so at the end they can go, "LOL look at these people unable to play."

How is it being an asshole to speak the truth. If you went out to eat, paid, and the food was bad. You mention it to the staff. If you purchase a lemon car, you take it back.

Just look at the news they even posted on the Lodestone. They know NA/EU has congestion issues, are doing log in restrictions. Then they post how they are adding servers..but for the JP only. They aren't even attempting at this time to do this for the problem already at hand. When you completely drop the ball like this, crying over it makes it pathetic, not sad. If you can't take the harsh truth, then your not cut out to do it. That has nothing to do with being an asshole, or an internet tough guy. Its simply the truth. That stream made me lose all respect for him and his team.

Exactly my sentiments on this issue. Oh NA/EU servers a clogged and now those unappreciative Westerners are clogging our Japanese servers. Welp lets fix that and expand the Japanese servers instead of fixing the real problem and bringing more NA/EU servers up. Ridiculous.

Not mention that they have implemented absolutely no methods for removing AFKers. You can literally stand still in the game doing nothing 24hrs a day and will only be logged out if your connection fails or a server reset/maintenance occurs. That is just piss-poor planning no matter how pretty they made the game.

And they keep telling you regardless to come back trying to get your reservation, but you can't, you have to get lucky. But then they fully expect you to appreciate all they did..while letting everyone else come in.

Ya this is 2013, stuff like this should not be happening anymore. Only reason anything like this would happen now in days, is piss more planning on the dev team and everyone wants to say they are working "around the clock", everyone wants to make you feel "Sorry for them". They fucked up period, no need for anyone to feel "sorry for them". I'm sure there working hard but this could off all been prevented with "proper planning". They bragged about have over 1 mil people in beta and yet they still have so little servers? Explain that to me yoshi lovers.

I wish I could have all you white knights as my boss, that way once I screw up something and cost you a ton of money, we can just say I worked hard and i'm sad that it happened, and just drop it from there.
