CE serial code works ok, bonus codes not working (invalid)

On the Precautions Concerning FINAL FANTASY XIV Licenses post it said "If you wish to play with a character from either the original FINAL FANTASY XIV or the FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn beta test:
-Please do not select the “Create New Service Account” option

I just have a beta test character.

Well that;s not the button your using. Follow my directions.

So i am a 1.0 player and didnt have the CE of that and pre ordered the CE how am i supposed to register it since i put int he code and says that it is invalid.... can anyone help me out here?

You don't. They aren't allowing you to put in another pc code on top of the 1,0 account, you needed to use the upgrade feature.

well that is just bad business practices... and i pre-ordered this over a month ago and didnt see anything mentioning that kind of thing...

It was mentioned in the link I posted. So it's not like they never told us. But I do agree this is kind bull and shoulda been easy to find. Try to get it refunded, if you explain to them what happened i;m sure they will give your money back.
