    Well good for you buddy, aren't you just the model citizen? Unfortunately your argument is flawed because a massive amount of people who will find themselves in this situation will not even read the forums. You can defend this until the cows come home but the fact remains that relying on a single forum post to inform v1.0 players that they would not be able to insert a product key for ARR is completely illogical. Would it really have hurt to send out an email to legacy players?

    This has been everywhere that FFXIV touches. Reddit. Twitter, Gamefaqs, Facebook. Not just one forum. and the reposts.... lets just say there is a reason there are 1,900+ open threads in the Tech Support forum here alone.
