Yeah exactly, stpc, and st, bt, i would like to see these come backI was actually gona mention that it deffinalty had a learning curve associated with it, but a fun game to play while learning it.
After 6 months in you were pretty much set - which has not been the case with 14's version. And again brings up the question of why.. why.. why change it
I also liked the fact XI's UI/party system had hidden gems that most of the player-base wouldnt regularly use, but was cool to tell people about. (<stpc>.. /pcmd.. for examples xD)
thank you we need more of these types of vidsI just made this I hope it helps some people learn how to use the party recruit/search system. Now all we need it SE to give us a reason to use it ^^

Sorry about the editing, I think I need some practise ; ;

I don't even think a video would make me start using the party search system as it currently is set up. I like to consider myself to be at least slightly intelligent, but I couldn't figure out the party search feature. Of course, I only gave each attempt like, 30-50 seconds, but after three attempts on three random occasions... Even with a video, I doubt I'll use it until it's fixed.
Usually, clicking on random buttons/features gets me somewhere. In this case, it did not.
Piracy
I'm sorry, but can anyone explain to me why XI's system for gathering a party is better than XIV's? I really don't see it.
The only real think XI had was an LFG flag. Which was very good and will hopefully make it's way to XIV. But 90% of the time, that didn't give you a full party. I always ended up using /sea and asking, {Party}{Do you need it?}.
XIV's recruit system makes so much more sense to me. The only problem with it is no one uses it. So someone explain to me in their own words why XI is better? I'm not being sarcastic or anything like that, I'm asking a legitimate question.

I think its cool you made this video. But it should be in new player help. And i'd like to point out if there is a mechanic in the game that has to be explained by a video, something might be wrong there.

People do this regardless if it's explained in game or not since a lot of people like making tutorial videos or walkthrough videos etc.

I would say it belongs in new player, except for the fact there are people who been playing for 4-5 months and have no clue how it works.... it honestly takes like 4mins to figure out it is a very simple party search tool.
And the only reason it does not work is people do not use it... If everyone used it the party system would work just as good as FFXI's System. So the more people that see it the better.

I've had a video up here for the past month and people have watched it, but if only 15 people use this system, only those 15 people will continue to use this system...so it's pointless when people are stupid.
Healer strike is ridiculously foolish and accomplishes nothing
ppl jump into a game and just want to play cs exploring the UI asking or finding ways to learn the system isn;t wrong. Sometimes ppl just donlt understand. And videos do help if ppl watch them. So far no one is using it for 2 reason they don;t know about it, or don;y know how to use it. And no one is teaching them how to use it so no one will learn. Maybe you guys who do know how to use it start teaching your linkshells how to use it. or even randon strangers.

People understand the system. It's not difficult to understand a BAD SYSTEM. REALLY BAD. Players aren't lazy SE is.
