Thanks for your awesome help - but no, at the moment I am not seeing the character I am using in any of the accounts. The old account only have my old 1.0 characters AND ARR beta characters, while the new account has no characters at all.Do you see your current character on the other service account? If not then it may still be on your 1.0 account and just not showing up and in that case I wish I could help you more best advice would be to wait for the mogstation to get sorted out.
BUT!!! If you see your current character on your new service account (the one that isn't 1.0), then you can just use that one to play. Although without any of your 1.0 stuff. I know it sounds confusing and it's partly because the whole system is gummed up, simply waiting a few more hours may shed more light on the issue.

If you HAVEN'T gotten your code today for your account registration/game registration, etc from buying digitally from SE's store.
If you goto their findmyorder thing for Digital River, find your order, it will tell you what you bought. aka. " FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn [PC DOWNLOAD] " Right below that you'll have an " Serial Code. " That code is what they'll email you. It will be in the form of xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx
The unlock code is like a second pre order bonus item code. It comes in the same 6-3-6-3 format.
Guys - telephone their support line and your code request gets escalated. I'm from the eu (UK). Codes are sent in batches (presumably from HQ), escalating means your code is sent in the next batch. I tracked down the UK support line with a simple google - "what is square enix customer support number"

Yeah, I've checked findmyorder.com a few times today, and I see that I have the serial now.
Is there any point in the unlock code? I added the other code on mogstation, but I don't understand the point of that one.
Best bet is to wait then until one of them shows up with the character you want to keep playing as, then use that one.
I have no clue what that is, but's in the same format as the preorder code. That's definitely odd.
